Finding your application type

You can find your application type by logging in to Join Bank. The very first page you are presented with will provide you with information on your application, your application type will be listed in the second column labelled 'Application Type'.

Once you have located this, click on your application type below to visit the relevant Onboarding Hub for help and support. 

• Bank Only

You're not known to any of our partner Trusts and would like the flexibility to work at any of our partner Trusts or other health and care settings

• Bank Exclusive

You've previously worked at (or are retired or retiring from) one of our partner Trusts, are known by them in a professional capacity and would like to work shifts there on a flexible basis

• Substantive

You’re already permanently employed at one of our partner Trusts and are looking to provide additional support there – for example, extra shifts, holiday cover or help with seasonal demands
